Celebrate Our Attendance

This academic year, our focus was on ensuring that our students were present and on time every day. We recognized and rewarded our students for perfect attendance on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis with special incentives. We are proud to announce that two students achieved perfect attendance for the entire school year: A. Mcclure (5th grade) and  J. Philips (3rd grade).

Pictured Above: Scholars with perfect attendance during ILEARN were invited to participate in a demonstration with Sub Zero Ice Cream and enjoy a sweet treat.

We are thrilled by the outstanding achievements of our athletes this academic year! The Boys Middle School Basketball Team had a perfect regular season, Vanessa F. was named to the district All-Star Volleyball Team, Keon L. earned a spot on the district All-Star Boys Basketball Team, and Michael C. and Lucy C. were both honored as Athletes of the Year.

Looking Ahead!

Our goal is to provide you with the latest updates on everything occurring at your school. As we embark on a new school year, it is essential for us to keep you well-informed about what lies ahead. We have introduced various new elements to our program and are refining some of our key policies as we prepare for the upcoming academic year.

  • NEW! Digital Learning Class

We are thrilled to introduce a new course for our K-8 scholars. They will participate in a Digital Learning Class as one of their weekly class rotations for integrated arts. Scholars will acquire library skills, typing abilities, research and presentation skills, as well as coding expertise.

  • New! Athletics Offered

Exciting developments are underway for our athletics programs in the upcoming school year!

    • Flag Football
    • Futsal
    • Tennis
    • Cheerleading
    • K-3 Basketball Clinic

We are continuously seeking dedicated coaches. If you or someone you know is interested, feel free to reach out to Mr. Keys, our Athletic Director.

All scholars in grades 4th-8th MUST have a sports physical on file in order to try out for the team.

    Contact Mr. Keys
  • REMINDER! Uniform Policy

At Emma Donnan, we adhere to a strict uniform policy to create a conducive environment for learning and safety. Ensuring that scholars are in proper uniform allows us to focus on academics without distractions. It is crucial for scholars to be in uniform daily to maintain this productive atmosphere. We kindly request your cooperation in making sure your scholar is dressed in the designated attire before arriving at school each day.

Scholars are required to wear either an Emma Donnan or Adelante shirt paired with jeans (without rips), khakis, navy, or gray pants. Footwear must be closed-toed and cover the entire foot; Crocs, slides, slippers, and sandals are not permitted.

Consequences, such as loss of recess or extracurricular activities, detention, etc., will be enforced for scholars who do not comply with the uniform policy.

If you require help with obtaining uniforms, kindly fill out our assistance form. We do offer limited donations that we can allocate to families in need.
